Description
The Roseville Utility Exploration Center (UEC) works to promote education to students, residents and businesses of Roseville and surrounding communities about water, wastewater, energy conservation, storm water quality and waste reduction to ensure the long-term quality of life, health and well-being of our community.
The UEC is a one-of-a-kind environmental learning center focused on bringing visitors information on protecting natural resources in a fun, engaging way. The messages delivered through the exhibits and programs are part of the efforts of Roseville to encourage recycling, water conservation and other smart energy choices.
The UEC conducts monthly plant tours at the Pleasant Grove WWTP, an Annual Open House and a "Sewer Swim" (at their facility) to educate the public about the wastewater treatment utility from the collection system to treatment plant. They also host a Big Trucks event that showcases the city's Vactor and Pipeline Inspection vehicles.
