Roni Gehlke has worked as ISD’s Public Outreach and Education consultant since 2001. Her role encompasses everything from writing, layout and design of the ISD's quarterly newsletter, to coordinating District events, including educational and public tours of the Water Recycling Facility. She is responsible for developing District public outreach and education campaigns, setting up and operating booths at local festivals and events, and creating promotional items, signs and banners. She is our point person for communicating with the media, including writing press releases and establishing contacts. She also designs and provides content for the District’s website, in addition to other duties.

Roni's is a strong communicator and relationship builder, with a vast knowledge of the community she has called home for nearly three decades. She is friendly, approachable, passionate about the work she does, and possesses an infectious personality that rubs off on everyone she meets.
