Suguna provides support to the Environmental Division at the Palo Alto RWQCP as an excellent analytical chemist. Her career began in Tamil Nadu India, training in a refinery effluent treatment plant where she completed her master’s dissertation, designing a solar still for distillery effluent treatment. Suguna received a BS in Chemistry and MS in Environmental Science from Bharathidasan University. She holds certificates in biotechnology, computer science and as a CWEA grade III lab analyst. Her experience includes working at the City of Sunnyvale and SCVW wastewater laboratories. She currently is the CWEA laboratory chair for the local SCV section. In addition to improving the CWEA certification laboratory subject matter for the study guides and acting as the certification prep trainer she passionately strives to get her peers involved with CWEA. Her latest role as SCV chair is to bring more laboratory training opportunities to the Bay Area.
