2017 CWEA/WEF Undergraduate & Graduate Student Paper Competition

The California Water Environment Association and Water Environment Federation (CWEA/WEF) Student Paper Competition provides an opportunity for students in undergraduate and graduate programs to compete and achieve recognition for their research. CWEA is now accepting submittals for both the Undergraduate & Graduate Student Paper Competition.

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Download the  Paper Competition  instructions to complete.

2. Email completed application here no later than February 28.

The winning paper(s) will be recognized in Wastewater Professional, CWEA’s periodic journal. The CWEA competition winner(s) will be acknowledged at the Awards Luncheon at the CWEA Annual Conference in April. (The student will be responsible for his/her own travel, housing arrangements, and meal expenses to attend the annual conference.) CWEA will provide a $500 prize to the undergraduate winner and a $500 prize to the graduate winner. The prize will be distributed in July 2018.

The undergraduate and graduate winners will have the opportunity to present his/her paper at the WEFTEC  Poster Symposium. The student will be responsible for his/her own travel, housing arrangements, and meal expenses at WEFTEC.
